I have owned my b&g macaw Shadow for 31 years. He is a great bird. Gentle when I got him @ 12 weeks and gentle today. I have no problem handing him off to anyone. He just likes people.
Shadow is loving and intelligent. We have learned a lot about one another during our life together. Shadow btw is living proof Macaws can be great with kids. He hasn’t met one he didn’t like.
I prefer the b&g temperament to that of the scarlet, but I love them all.
